The 2008 Stripes yearbook will be delivered in mid-May, according to information from the publisher, Taylor Publishing Co.
An exact date for distribution has not yet been set.
A limited number of extra books will be available for sale
on the day of distribution for $85 cash, Dianne Smith, adviser, said.
"We expect the extras to sell out quickly," Smith
said. "Be in line early with the correct change."

Bellissimo tonight and tomorrow
Curtains will rise on the Bellissimo Spring Show at 7 p.m. today and tomorrow in the Travis auditorium.
This will be the last performance for the Belles, Travis dance team. Special appearances by the 2008-09 rookies, the
officer lines, the parents and THS Percussion are also planned.
"The Belles have worked very hard all year and will be showcasing their solos and ensembles, team and officer dances
and more," Jennifer Haines, director.
Tickets at the door are $10 for students and $12 for adults.

TAKS tests loom ahead
During the week of April 29-May 2nd, 2008, students at Travis High School and across the state will be taking the Math,
Science, and Social Studies TAKS test.
Testing will start immediately in the morning. Students testing are to report directly to their Instructional Support
classrooms, according to Jerri LaMirand, dean of instruction.
On non testing days, students will be taking the required Physical Fitness test and will need to dress appropriately.
Students are reminded that cell phones should be left at home or in their lockers during testing. A student caught with
a cell phone during testing will have their tests disqualified.
