2009 yearbooks go on sale next week through
Smart-Pay
The 2009 Stripes yearbook will go on sale beginning next week on the Smart-Pay web site. Books will be $72.50 and will be on sale until about the middle of January, Dianne Smith, adviser,
said. "Parents will not receive any mailings from Taylor Publishing Co. about yearbook sales until school starts
in the fall," Smith said. "This is because we have to give them an updated student list and we won't be able
to do that until school starts. However, you can order yearbooks before you receive that mailing." Purchasers
may use major credit cards to order the books, she said. "If you would prefer to order by mail, you can also
do that, but it might be better to wait until you hear from Taylor Publishing Co. so that you have the exact address for mailing
payment," Smith said. Books ordered through the mail can be paid for with credit card or check.

Prestige Photography
to take senior portraits
Prestige Photography is the studio which will take senior portraits for the yearbook.
A letter will be sent to seniors and their parents concerning appointments and pricing.
"It is very important for seniors to make these appointments and get their portraits made before our deadline which is
in October," Dianne Smith, yearbook adviser, said. "We must make our yearbook deadlines and cannot wait for procrastinators
to get their pictures taken; we will have to go to press without pictures if students miss their portrait deadlines."
Girls will wear black drapes and boys will wear tux jackets in the yearbook portraits. These will be provided by the
studio. Other poses will also be made at the request of the students.
